First Lady Anadina Hicks was born in Wichita Falls, Texas. She is the third of three children born to Deacon Samuel and Juanita Woodard. She was initially a member of the Catholic Church; however, as a child, she became a member of Jackson Memorial Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Superintendent Leroy Cleaver, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

She graduated from Wichita Falls High School in Wichita Falls, Texas and attended Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. She is married to Pastor Herman Hicks and they have four children.  She served along side her husband from the time he was a United States Air Force captain until his retirement as a Colonel. She was the senior spouse of the 22nd Mission Support Group at McConnell AFB, KS. She served as the Thrift Shop Advisor for the McConnell AFB Officers and Enlisted Wives Club. She volunteered her time and energy at the Salvation Army during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. She was also trained by the American Red Cross to deal with disasters.

She has served as the First Lady of three churches in two countries: Maranatha Tabernacle Church of God in Christ in Mackenbach, Germany; Tabernacle of Praise Church of God in Christ in Ft Walton Beach, Florida; and presently the First Lady of Greater Pentecostal Church of God in Christ in Wichita, Kansas.

Sis Hicks is a supportive wife and shares the vision of her husband as they work together in ministry to provide a catalyst for change and facilitate opportunities for people from various socio-economic backgrounds, improving their quality of life and breaking cycles of destruction. She helps impact the lives of others by providing services that will equip and give them skills, while building the community as well as building lives.

As First Lady of Greater Pentecostal she serves as the President of the Young Women Christian Council, and as the instructor and advisor for the Young Women of Excellence (ages 12-17) class. Additionally, she is the Advisor to the Greater Pentecostal Women's Department. Sis Hicks has been a member of the Praise team at churches in Texas, Florida, and Kansas. Additionally, she has served as a teacher for the children ages 4-11. She is an outstanding speaker who has spoken for Women's Day at Greater Pentecostal, Wichita District Union meetings and during the 2008 Kansas Southwest Jurisdiction Holy Convocation. She is proud to be a mother to her children and a supportive wife to her husband. But most of all, she is saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost.
